Event Description Audition for AULA’s Annual V-Day Performances!
Auditions will be held on the AULA campus Saturday, January 5th from 12 - 5 p.m. Please email Cynthia at cruffin@antioch.edu for an audition appointment.
Founded by performer/writer/activist Eve Ensler, V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls.
A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and a Prayer and Vagina Monologues
A groundbreaking collection of monologues by world renowned authors and playwrights, edited by Eve Ensler and Mollie Doyle. These diverse voices rise up in a collective roar to break open, expose, and examine the insidiousness of violence at all levels: brutality, neglect, a punch, even a put down. The volume features such authors and topics as Maya Angelou on Women’s work; Jane Fonda on Reclaiming Our Mojo and many more. It includes pieces by and for men.
Students, staff, and faculty are invited to participate!
Performance Dates: 15th, 16th, 17th February 2013
